Dick Watt - UBSC
Memorabilia: Articles and Documents

›Dick Watt‹
A year or so before his death Dick Watt sent me large box chock-full of photos,
35mm slides, articles, and documents. As well, he left a lot of memorabilia at
UBSC when he retired, and Donna Roberts assumed the
"responsibility" of keeping this. When Donna found out about the
UBSC web site, she was only too glad to unload it on me.
Some of this material I may be unable to throw up on the web site.
Much is hard to get into 'quality' text or image form.
But, I'll keep trying -- in spite of my Black Belt in Procrastination.
Documents
A lot of the material pertains to "Corporate", versus the UBSC
environment, but there is plenty of UBSC-centric material
to embarrass most of us.

Photographs and 35MM slides
Dick had a large collection of
35mmm slides and a number of photographs from The Early Years. (And, I mean early:
We're talkin' bell-bottom pants, big hair, beards, and leather hiking boots.)
I am uncertain as to whether Dick took all these photographs and 35mm slides himself, or
whether he was merely "The Keeper" of many pictures that others passed along to him.
The colors on many of the photographs and 35mm slides have faded/shifted in the 30-40 years
since they were taken. I spent some time in an image transmogrifier -- trying tweaking
'things' so that the images you see are presentable.

Thanks for the material, Dick!
