U.B.S.C. such a great company.
The United Banks Service Company (UBSC) was created in 1970 to provide
the central data processing needs for the United Banks Of Colorado (UBKS).
Sadly, the great run of UBSC and UBKS came to a
close in 1991 when the corporation was bought by Norwest Bank (who 8 years later bought and assumed
the name of Wells Fargo Bank.)
There were a lot of great people that came together at UBSC --
where they collaborated, conspired, cooperated, and butted heads to provide the very best, cutting
edge services to the United Banks Of Colorado (and its Mortgage Company.)
This web site is devoted to recalling and remembering those halcyon and chaotic days of yore.

A few notes about the web site:
To borrow a phrase from Bill Caffrey, this

Web Site has become a tar baby. heh... It has grown to
way more than just the one
page of my digital pictures from the
UBSC 2002 Reunion.
- This web site is designed to display best on monitors at
1024x768 or better resolution. (If you are still using 640x480,
ask your (great-)granddaughter to change your resolution for you...)
However, all of it has been re-coded to play nice on the smaller iToys --
if you favor viewing a tiny World Wide Web...
- Email addresses are never "in the clear". This is to thwart
the spam robots and spiders that slither across the web -- harvesting
email addresses from the text inside web pages. Email addresses will be either:
- In a graphic -- such as the web master's addy:
- In some 'contrived' fashion -- such as: UBSC -at- jonz dot net
You'll have to (write down and) type in the email address(es). Neither
cut-and-paste, nor 'clicking' will work.
- Pictures and graphics (jpeg's, png's and gif's) have been
re-sized and compressed as much as possible to make for "snappy" page
loading. Some of the pictures will appear as links when you
wave your 'clicker' over them. In these instances, nearby
or pop-up text should tell you what to expect if you click on it. If
you are interested in a particular image, I probably have a
larger-sized copy of it and I'll email you a copy for the asking.
- I try to make this web site work in "All Browsers". Please let me
know if something on this web site breaks your browser -- pass along
your OS/version, and browser/version information. Thank you.
- I need more UBSC crap "material".
