Jeff Williams

June 17, 1945 -— September 16, 2024

Deephaven, MN – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeff Williams on September 16, 2024. Jeff was a devoted husband, loving father, and caring friend.

Jeff was born on June 17, 1945, in Eau Claire, WI, to Ernest and Elaine (Muenchow) Williams. He was baptized in 1945 and confirmed at the Lords Faith Church in Eau Claire, WI. He graduated in the class of 1963 from Memorial High School in Eau Claire, WI.

Later, he moved to Denver, CO, in 1969, and then Deephaven, MN, in 1998, where he worked for Wells Fargo and retired after 51 years. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and being on the lake. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, strong work ethic, and love of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father and mother, his brother, Wayne Williams (survived by his wife, Gretchen Williams), and his grandson, Bo Williams. Jeff is survived by his wife of 35 years, Laurie Williams, his four children, Chris (Susan) Williams, Angela Williams, Connor Williams, and Mason (Etta) Williams, granddaughter, Natasha (Lawton) Jung, siblings, Steve Williams, Tom (Sharon) Williams, Paul Williams, Tim (Jolene) Williams, Carol Trapp (preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Trapp), Ruth Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His celebration of life service will be held on November 9, 2024, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota (7110 France Ave. S., Edina MN, 55435). Visitation will be held at 11am and the service will begin at 12pm. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization that funds Alzheimer's research, care, and support.

I have a humorous memory of Jeff Williams:
He was going on a business trip to Chicago and I asked him to please stop by and get some Frango Mints from Marshall Fields for me!
Well, he did stop by Marshall Fields, and picked up some Frango Mints — and he ate them all!!
