You were always happy to help a colleague and added great value in your work. You leave a void in the team and are greatly missed. Thinking of you and your family.

My condolences to Mark's family. I was one of the many Verizon people who had the privilege of working with Mark - we were on the same team when he started at the company a decade ago. Mark was always funny, and he had a way of seeing through any situation to get to the truth. He called it like it was. His loss is keenly felt by all in the Verizon family.

Mark was a colleague at Verizon. We worked together for two years and then remained in contact after my move to another business unit. From the day I met Mark, I felt that I could call him my friend. We had a lot in common with so many years in IT and so we seemed to understand each other and how our careers have weathered so much change since we were much younger. I will always remember his laughter and his sense of humor. We had long talks about South Dakota where I believe his family has roots. And he was always there with suggestions on places to visit there. But beyond that, I knew I could always come to Mark to help solve some of the more difficult problems at work. He was that smart. And that kind. And that funny. He was my friend. I will miss talking to him. RIP my friend.
