In 2007, Roger sent me scans of some of his 'mementos' from the
UBC/UBD era. He sent no commentary with these images,
so I cobbled up my own comments from the file names Roger had given the JPEG's.
Roger believes he has more 'stuff', and will pass it along when (if) he
ever comes across it.

1979: A runner's bib from the
first marathon sponsored by UBD.

And here is evidence of that runner's bib in action.
It's a 41-year old newspaper clipping that Roger sent me in Sept, 2020.
In Roger's own words:
"That's my personal number. I started my running about six months prior to the marathon and
thought it was cool to enter a marathon sponsored by the bank. My goal was to finish in under
four hours and I finished at 3:55! I made the front page of the Denver Post but some ying-yang
had to wave at the photographer and covered up my face. The bib number confirms it's really me."
A mid-1970's: United Bank of Pueblo bumper sticker
promoting drive-up service ("Motor Bank").

Thanks for the images, Roger!
